2008 Formula 1 season opener party, March 15 7pm

From San Francisco:
Bay Bridge to 580 East to 150th Ave. exit, Right off exit, go 2 lights, Turn Left on Hesperian Blvd., 1/2 block on left.

The drive from the city is a high speed drive off the bridge to 580. There's lots of freeway splits, just stay on 580. It is like coming out of turn 10 at Monza before the Rettifilo chicane was added.

From Oakland Coliseum/Airport:
880 South to Lewelling exit, Left off exit, Left at first light, 1 1/4 miles on right.

880 is always like the first lap at Monaco, fight for position, look for the exit and hit the charming old world streets of west San Leandro!

From Richmond, Berkeley:
580 East to 150th Ave. exit, Right off exit, go 2 lights,Turn Left on Hesperian Blvd., 1/2 block on left.

Head along the Eastshore freeway right along the water, just like at Monaco. Well the water is on the wrong side. Hey look to your right, is that Jackie Stewart and Chris Economakie on a yacht in the Emeryville harbor wearing their Wide World of Sports blazers? No it's not, now pay attention and get on 580! Left Left Left!

From San Mateo:
San Mateo Bridge to 880 North, Hesperian Blvd. exit, Turn Right, 1 1/4 miles on right.

Believe me when I say I have seen people go 68 mph on the S&M bridge! It's fast! Watch that turn to get on 880 north. It is probably 2nd gear (depending on your rear end), but it has a nice bank to it like Au Rouge. Ok that's a lie, more like turn 6 at Infineon. Enjoy The 92 to 880 North "Carousel."

From Livermore-Dublin:
580 West to Fairmont Dr. exit, Left on Fairmont, go 4 lights, Turn Right, 1 Block on right.

Stay to the right to stay on 580. When you merge you'll think your on the Flugplatz at Hockenheim. You might need a few rounds of wedge, or ya know whatever.

From San Jose, Fremont:
880 North, Hesperian Blvd. exit, Turn Right, 1 1/4 miles on right.

The run up 880 is for a true manly man. You are the brave, you are up to the challenge. You Can Do It! Pretend you are interviewing Kimi Raikkonen and have to fill 2 minutes of Live International TV! If there is light traffic it will be just like coming off the Arquibancadas onto the front straight at Interlagos. If there is heavy traffic it will be more like coming out of the pit lane to the Senna S. Make time after Reta Oposto, or as we call it "South Hayward."

From BART:
Take Fremont Train to BAYFAIR Station, we're 2 blocks North on Hesperian Blvd.

BART is just like the bullet train in Japan. Except it isn't as fast or as clean and the people aren't as polite. Otherwise it is just like that. Super Best Friends 4 Life!
